CCPO lauds police performance
LAHORE:CCPO Lahore lauded the performance of Lahore police for maintaining peace in the City and providing foolproof security to the citizens on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
He said that security of the city was beefed up in wake of present border situation and fourth wave of corona. Effective patrolling was done by Dolphin Squad, Police Response Units, Ababeel Force and vehicles of police stations around important and sensitive places, including special cattle markets, mosques and other public places.
More than 7,500 police officials were deputed outside mosques, Imambargahs and other sensitive places. Vehicles and persons were thoroughly checked at e-police check posts at exit and entry points of the city.
CCPO and other senior officials offered Eid prayers at open area of District Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh and laid a wreath on the Yaadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha for the departed souls. He said that sacrifice of martyrs would not go in vain.
