UBG to fulfil business community’s expectations
Islamabad:SM Munir, Patron-in-Chief United Business Group, has said that in the current economic conditions PM Imran Khan is striving hard to boost the economy of the country. He said that the improvement of the economic condition of the country has begun to emerge significantly and in the next few years Pakistan would emerge as a strong economic and political power in the region. He expressed these views at dinner hosted by Zafar Bakhtawari, secretary general UBG, says a press release.
Moreover, he said that Pakistan’s exports have started increasing and it would be a good sign for the development and prosperity of the country. He further said that he will use his all capabilities and efforts to solve the problems of the business community.
Zubair Tufail, president, UBG in his address thanked SM Munir and the leadership of UBG for trusting him, Zafar Bakhtawari and Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig as the new office bearers of UBG. He hoped to fulfil the expectations of UBG. He said that the Secretariat of United Business Group which is established in Islamabad would not be dedicated only for UBG members but also serve the business community across the country.
UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari in his address said that Islamabad is an important place for the country’s economic, diplomatic and trade development and UBG’s office in Islamabad will play a vital role in the country's economic development and prosperity.
Mian Akram Farid, chairman, Founder Group (ICCI), FPCCI former president Ghazanfar Balour and Gen (r) Abdul Qayyum also spoke on the occasion. Finally the Group Leaders of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce Sohail Altaf, Group Leader of Sargodha Chamber of Commerce Amir Ata Bajwa, Group Leader of Vehari Chamber of Commerce Zahid Iqbal Chaudhry, former vice president of FPCCI Hanif Gohar and Former Vice President of ICCI Ahsan Bakhtawari and Malik Sohail Sohail also addressed the gathering.
