400 wardens deployed for 12 cattle markets

LAHORE : City Traffic police issued traffic plans for 12 cattle markets here in the city.

Four DSPs, 12 inspectors and more than 400 wardens have been deployed under the supervision of divisional officers, while 07 forklifts have been deployed to remove wrong parking and encroachments.

Cattle markets have been set up in Shahpur Kanjran, Pine Avenue Road Shano Baba near Haveli Markaz opposite Nisar Haveli Sundar Road, NFC Society near Bahria Town, Raiwind Road Manga Mandi, Saggian Road and Lakho Dair near Ring Road, LDA City near Kahna Kachha Road, Gajjumatta near Lahore Ring Road Office, N Block Defence Phase 9 and Sabzi Mandi Nishtar Colony.

SEARCH OPERATION CONDUCTED: Cantt Division police conducted a search operation in its jurisdiction on Sunday.

The search operation was carried out in the vicinity of slums and churches. A heavy contingent of police including SDPOs and SHOs took part in the search operation.
