69 cases of firing registered

LAHORE: The Lahore Operations police registered 69 cases of firing in the current month and 186 cases in June. At least 48 cases were registered by City division police, 44 by Cantt division, 16 by Civil Lines division, 30 by Sadr division, 26 by Iqbal Town and 22 cases were registered by Model Town division. During the last 38 days, 779 cases of illegal weapons were registered. Six Kalashnikovs, 47 rifles, 19 rifles, 684 pistols and thousands of bullets were seized.
