Senate chairman forms committee for football promotion

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has constituted a special committee to look after the football promotion in the country.

Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman has been appointed as the convener of the committee. Other members of the committee are Senators Rubina Khalid, Khalida Ateeb, Irfanullah Khan, Ahmad Khan, Saifullah Abro, Sabir Shah, and Talha Mehmood.

The committee will soon hold meetings with the Ministry of Inter-Provincial (IPC) officials and suggest ways and means to promote the game in the country. The ongoing stalemate on the game governance in the country will also be discussed with the stakeholders.
