National U-23 Football from today
ISLAMABAD: The National U-23 Football Championship will start from Sunday (today) at 4 pm at Kunch Football House ground, Abbottabad.
President Pakistan Football Federation Ashfaq Hussain Shah will inaugurate the tournament.
The teams in the championship are Punjab (2 teams), Khyber Pukhtunkhwa (2 teams), Baluchistan (2 teams), Sindh (2 teams), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jummu and Kashmir and FATA.
The semi-finals will be played on July 15 and the final on July 16.
Islamabad Football Association (IFA) has announced an 18-member team for the Championship.
Talha Rafique and Tanzeel H Bukhari will be the Captain and Vice Captain, respectively. The other players are Miraj ud din, Umer Farooq, Muhammad Zubair, Muhammad Hussain, Israr, Abdul Salam, Nofil Hussain, Sharyar Khan, Ahmed Lado, Muhammad Usman, Kamran, Touqeer Ahmed, Khaleeq uz Zaman, Ahmed Hassan, Mustansir and Ahmed Bin Saleem.
Chaman Khan is the Manager while Fareed Malik and Nasir Jamil will be the Coach and Assistant Coach, respectively.
