Expat raped by son of father’s friend

LAHORE: A British-Pakistani girl was raped by the son of her father’s friend in the Wahdat Colony area five days ago.

The victim, daughter of Muhammad Arshad of Sher Shah Road, Cantt, came to Pakistan from the UK on the death of her father almost six months ago and stayed in the house of her father on Sher Shah Road for some months. Her stepmother asked her to leave the house, upon which, she went to the house of his father's friend Syed Taqweem Ahsan, a resident of Gulshan Rehman, Wahdat Colony. She was given a room for stay. On June 26, 2021, accused Feezan, son of Syed Taqweem, entered her room at around 4am and threatened her of dire consequences if she raised alarm.

He allegedly raped her for three days. Later, the victim got an opportunity and informed police on helpline 15. Wahdat Colony police has registered a case against the accused and arrested him.

Usman Buzdar has sought a report from CCPO Lahore about an incident of molestation of a UK-returned girl at Wahdat Colony and directed strict legal action against the arrested criminal. The victim girl be provided justice at every cost, asserted the CM.

WOMAN HELD: Factory Area police arrested a woman on charges of making firing into the air. The accsued, Najma, had also uploaded her images with toy guns on social media.

Two boys arrested for molesting friend: Haier police arrested two boys for molesting their seven-year-old friend. The accused, Irfan and Sajid, seduced and molested their friend. Police have registered a case against the accused boys.

bikes seized: Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff Cantt Division arrested three bike lifters and recovered 28 bikes and illegal weapons from their possession.

The arrested criminals were identified as Waheed, Waseem and Qamar. The accused used to lift bikes being parked outside houses and at parking stands.

FRAUD ACCUSED HELD: North Cantt police arrested four proclaimed offenders involved in cheque bounce and fraud cases. The arrested persons have been identified as Asghar, Nadeem, Akram and Sadiq.
