Punjab e-Rozgar Programme newsletter launched
LAHORE ; Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti has launched the first Newsletter of Punjab e-Rozgar Programme at a ceremony at SBP e-Library Nishtar Park Sports Complex the other day.
Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and international e-Payment company Payoneer also signed an MoU on this occasion to make it convenient for freelancers about their payments from international clients.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs was the chief guest of the ceremony. Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fuad Hashim Rabbani, DG Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, DG Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Sajid Latif, Partnership Manager Payoneer Afaf Noor and other officials were also present on this occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Rai Taimoor said the launching of Punjab e-Rozgar Programme’s Newsletter is definitely a major development and the success stories of e-Rozgar Programme and e-Rozgar freelancers will be highlighted appropriately in the Newsletter. “Providing sufficient opportunities to potential youth to grow in their respective careers is the top priority of our government,” he said. Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti announced an e-Commerce programme in near future. “Hopefully, this programme will bring revolution in the field of e-Commerce. Through this programme, our youth can excel in the international market and earn millions of rupees”.
He congratulated the certificate-winning youngsters of e-Rozgar Programme and informed that Punjab govt is also bringing an e-Earn Programme in near future. “The 63 percent youth of our country is actually our great power. We need to teach our youth modern knowledge and skills. E-Commerce programme is the best project for our youth and they must take full benefit from this programme and get rid of their financial issues”.
Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Fuad Hashim Rabbani said that the number of e-Rozgar Centres is being increased across the province. “Our youth will get more opportunities to earn money through the MoU between Youth Affairs and Sports Department Punjab, PITB and international e-Payment company Payoneer”.
DG Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) Sajid Latif said that more e-Rozgar Centres are being established on the direction of Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs.
“As many as 35 thousand youth have been given training in our e-Rozgar Centres and in return they have earned Rs 350 million in a short span of time”.
Punjab Minister for Youth Affairs Rai Taimoor awarded souvenirs to Secretary Youth Affairs Punjab Fuad Hashim Rabbani, DG Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh, DG PITB Sajid Latif and Partnership Manager of Payoneer Afaf Noor on this occasion. Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti also distributed appreciation certificates among top performers of e-Rozgar Programme.
