Pakistan seeks explanation for censoring PM’s interview

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Tuesday demanded an explanation for censoring an interview of Prime Minister Imran Khan to an American TV channel. Sources privy to the government said that the American TV channel censored the interview of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a private news channel reported.
In the interview, the prime minister’s views on Indian Hindutva thinking were censored and the government sought an explanation from American TV for censoring Imran Khan’s remarks. Sources further said that the American TV censored Imran Khan’s interview and restricted freedom of expression. The Information Ministry has been instructed to take up the matter with the American TV channel.
