Kishori Lal seeks report on murder in Kunri

Expressing grief over the killing of a person, Bherumal Kolhi, in Kunri town of Umerkot district on late Friday night, Sindh Minister for Food and Minority Affairs Hari Ram Kishori Lal has directed the Umerkot SSP to submit a detailed report about the incident.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Lal said stringent measures were being taken by the Sindh government to protect the lives and properties of the minority communities and ensure the protection of their legitimate rights.

He said Sindh was a land of peace and such incidents were an attempt to sabotage the inter-faith harmony in the province. —
