Transfer and posting of cops

LAHORE: The IGP Punjab issued transfer and posting orders of a police officer on Tuesday. The services of SDPO North Cantt Sidra Khan have been placed at the disposal of the additional IGP South Punjab. Sidra Khan was transferred reportedly for not acting on the complaint of the victim Myra. Before her murder, Myra had filed a complaint against the accused. Sidra had disposed of the complaint of the victim, subsequently resulting in her murder.

Meanwhile, the DIG Operations Lahore issued transfer and posting orders of six officers including four SHOs on Tuesday. Sub-Inspector Shehzad Raza has been posted as additional SHO New Anarkali, Inspector Imran Khan as SHO Ghalib Market, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Siddique as additional SHO Shahdara Town and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shehzad as additional SHO Misri Shah. Inspector Asif Atta and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Afzal have been transferred to Police Lines.
