PGF Golf School gets under way

LAHORE: The Pakistan Golf Federation Qualifying School 2021-22, which provides a pathway to career seeking amateur and professional players, began on Tuesday.

Criteria for appearance in the Qualifying School is that the entrant must be either a player of no less than four handicap in amateur status who desires to turn professional or a professional whose name is proposed after a test clearance from any of the provincial golf association of the country.

This Qualifying School contest will be held over four rounds, the first and second round at Royal Palm Golf Course and PAF Skyview Golf Course alternately. Cut will imposed after the first two rounds and out of 280 eager apprentice professionals 160 will stand weeded out and 120 top performers will compete over two rounds on June 10 and 11.
