Man shot dead in Tirah

BARA: Unidentified armed men killed a man in the Maidan area in Tirah valley on Sunday, official and local sources said.

They said one Israr Khan was on his way home when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him in the Shalobar area in Tirah valley, killing him on the spot.

In another incident, unknown gunmen opened fire on a JUI worker, identified as Luqman Hakeem, leaving him injured.

He was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.

The accused managed to escape and the police registered the cases against unknown people.

Meanwhile, five persons sustained injuries when a car and a raksha collided on Frontier Road in Bara.
