PTI MPA accuses governor of trying to get him disqualified
TOBA TEK SINGH: PTI Gojra MPA Bilal Asghar Warraich Thursday accused Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar of trying to get him disqualified over the allegations of his BA degree for several years.
Addressing a press conference at Gojra, the MPA from PP-118 alleged that when Chaudhry Sarwar was the Governor Punjab during the PML-N government he also used his influence on the then Punjab University vice chancellor to declare his BA degree as fake one. He said once again with the connivance of his political rivals Usama Hamza and Asad Zaman Cheema, the Governor was conspiring against him in terms of declaring his degree as bogus one.
He claimed his degree was a genuine one. The MPA said he had personal relations with Jehangir Tareen and that was why he was supporting him in demanding a transparent inquiry against him (Tareen) regarding allegations leveled against him.
Bilal also criticised PTI central vice president Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq for allegedly pressurising the district and tehsil administrations to ignore him in comparison to defeated candidates Usama Hamza and Asad Zaman Cheema.
