Man allegedly kills brother over property dispute
NOWSHERA: A man allegedly shot dead his brother over property dispute in Rashakai Bazaar near here on Thursday.
Muhammad Nawaz, a resident of Rashakai, told the police in injured condition that he along with his brother Noor Hayat were in the bazaar to purchase grocery.
In the meantime, he said his brother Taimur Hayat came and opened fire on us with a pistol, killing Noor Hayat on the spot.
He said that he sustained injuries when fell on the road while running for life.
The motive behind the killing was stated to a property dispute.
The accused, who was stated to be a medical technician in the TB Control Programme at the District Headquarters Hospital, Nowshera, fled the scene after commenting on the crime.
The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
