Jang-Geo Editor-in-Chief on 14-day judicial remand

LAHORE: An accountability court on Tuesday sent Jang/Geo Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman on 14-day judicial remand in a case pertaining to purchase of a private piece of land over 34 years ago.
The court directed the jail authorities to produce Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman again on May 12, along with issuing directions to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference of the said investigation as early as possible.
The court, in its orders, said that NAB had completed the 'inquiry' against Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman.
