94 more members of Tableeghi Jamaat tested corona positive
SUKKUR: The residents of Hyderabad got panicky after 94 more members of Tableeghi Jamaat were tested coronavirus positive that ballooned the number to 128 on Tuesday.
The medical superintendent of Kohisar Hospital, Hyderabad, Dr Suresh, and a sweeper of the hospital were also tested coronavirus positive, posing serious threat to others. The Hyderabad administration has declared Indus Hotel, City Gate Hotel, Crown Hotel, Boys Hostel of Sindh University Jamshoro, Rajputana Hospital, Kohisar Hospital, Labour Flats and trauma centre as isolation units for possible coronavirus positive patients in the wake of recent surge in number.
Meanwhile, DC Sukkur Shafiq Ahmed Mahesar confirmed that 101 suspected patients who were kept in quarantine centre of Labour Flats Sukkur were retested and the results were negative. He said in the first phase, a total 302 pilgrims from Taftan border were brought to the quarantine centre of Labour Flats Sukkur and among them 101 had already been tested coronavirus positive.
