Jang-Geo workers to hold massive rallies today

ISLAMABAD: On the call of the Joint Action Committee of the workers of Geo and Jang Group, the workers of the Geo and Jang Group will hold massive protest rallies today (Thursday) in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore against the arrest of Editor-in-Chief Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman at 3:00pm.

The protest rallies will participated and addressed by journalists, human rights activists, civil society, lawyers, labour unions, students union and political leaders. The rallies will be held outside the Geo offices in Islamabad at 3:00pm, while in Karachi, the rally will be held at 4:00pm in front of the offices of Geo and Jang and also in Lahore at Davis Road.
