Crafts festival inaugurated at Arts Council

The two-day Hunarmand Crafts Mela 2020 was inaugurated on Saturday at the Arts Council of Pakistan.
The festival is aimed at promoting traditional crafts of the people of Pakistan. An exhibition of handicrafts depicting the culture of all the provinces of Pakistan has also featured at the event.
Various stalls at the festival showcased Sindhi Ajrak, topi, Rilli, natural dye, block prints, Jundiwork, Sussi bangles, Khaadi and Banarasi dresses.
Hala tiles, kashi work and crafts made from stones were also the centre of attention at the festival. Folk dances were also performed on the first day of the event
