The Sindh Rangers and the Pakistan Customs jointly confiscated contraband items worth millions of rupees during snap checking at the Hub check-post on Sunday.
According to a spokesman for the Rangers, personnel of the paramilitary force and the Customs seized from some vehicles non-custom paid items and narcotics.
The spokesman said they confiscated two kilogrammes of hashish, 393 roles of cloths, 1,500 packs of cigarette, 160 litres of engine oil, 312 kilogrammes of mercury, 130 lenses of DSLR camera and 60 iPhones. The seized items were later handed over to Customs authorities for a legal action.
