16 persons injured in Peshawar fire incidents
PESHAWAR: At least 16 people were injured in three separate incidents of fire due to gas leakage in different parts of Peshawar.
An official of the Rescue 1122 said five people suffered burn injuries when a fire broke out after an explosion due to gas leakage in the Afghan Colony. Five members of a family suffered burn injuries in a house on the Inqilab Road where a fire broke out due to gas leakage. The wounded included women and children who were taken to the hospital. Another fire broke out in a house at the Jamil Chowk where two women and three children sustained burn injuries and were taken to hospital.
Also, a fire broke out in the store of a private hospital on the Nasir Bagh Road due to short-circuit that did not cause any casualty. A woman was wounded due to electrocution in Matin Koroona in Qazi Killay who was shifted to hospital by the Rescue 1122 officials.
