LAHORE: Lahore Tigers qualified for the final of 1st FBR-Railways Veterans Cricket Championship when they defeated Income Tax Seniors by 21 runs at the Shah Faisal Ground.
Scores: Lahore Tigers 232/9 after 30 overs (Saleem Elahi 84, Haroon Rasheed 65, Abdul Rauf 30 Hamdan Nazir 3/49, Mian Yasir 3/35). Income Tax Seniors 211 all out in 28.1 overs (Junaid Sheikh 69, Majid Ali 41, M Younis 24, M Rehan 3/28, Tajamal Ch 3/44). In the second semifinal Amar Cables will face Lahore Badshah on December 19 at Shah Faisal Cricket Ground.
