Imran awarded Bahrain’s highest civil award
ISLAMABAD: King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa conferred on Prime Minister Imran Khan the highest civil award of Bahrain “The King Hamad Order of the Renaissance” at a ceremony held on Monday.
Earlier, King of Bahrain received the Prime Minister Khan upon his arrival at the Sakhir Palace, said a press release issued by the PM’s Office. Khan visited the Kingdom of Bahrain on the invitation of King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to attend the National Day of Bahrain as guest of honour.
Earlier, Prime Minister Khan and Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa discussed bilateral issues as well as the regional situation as they met at Al-Ghudaibya Palace in Manama. Khan was accorded guard of honour as he arrived at Al-Ghudaibya Palace for official meeting with the Bahrain’s crown prince.
Prime Minister Khan and Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad also witnessed signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) in the fields of higher education and scientific research, sports and medical sciences.
