Man kills wife

LAHORE:A woman was killed by her husband in the Chah Miran area on Sunday. The woman was identified as Iqra, wife of Rasheed. It was reported that the accused murdered her over a domestic issue. The accused fled the scene after the crime. The body was removed to morgue for autopsy.

Fugitives arrested: Attock police arrested two proclaimed offenders of category A, nine of category B, and 65 judicial absconders last month. In addition to it, 40 cases were registered against drug pushers and 9.68 kg opium, 35.185 kg charas, 32 liquor bottles and 1,200 gram heroin were recovered.

Suicide: A 50-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in his Gujjarpura house on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Ajmal of China Scheme, Gujarpura. Police shifted the body to morgue. Man shot dead at shrine: A 45-year-old man was shot dead by a man in a shrine of Sufi Milan known as Abba Sarkar on Sunday morning.

The accused, identified as Ali, approached victim Ishfaq at the shrine and shot him dead. The attacker escaped from the scene. Police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy.
