Schoolteacher held for ‘attempted rape of student’

A teacher of a private school was arrested in District West on Tuesday on charges of attempting to rape a minor girl.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Fida Hussain Janwari, a teacher, Sajid, has been booked in a case for allegedly trying to sexually assault an eight-year-old student of the school located in Frontier Colony. Action was taken after the school administration and family approached the police, who will proceed in the matter after the arrival of the medical examination report.
