NA session tomorrow: Bill for amendment to Army Act likely to be tabled

ISLAMABAD: The President has summoned the National Assembly session to meet on December 4 (Wednesday afternoon). Earlier, the President using his powers under Article 54 revoked November 22 orders of summoning of the National Assembly for December 2.
The delayed session of lower House of the Parliament is likely to continue for two weeks.
In the light of directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the government is also likely to introduce a bill for amendment to the Army Act to give legal effect to extension of Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and three services chiefs.
