KHAR: Unidentified gunmen on Monday kidnapped the 9-year-old son of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Central Executive Committee (CEC) member Syed Akhunzada Chattan in Amankot area of Bajaur Agency, official sources said.
They said the kidnappers picked up Syed Hussain
Shah, the youngest son of former Member National Assembly (MNA) from Bajaur Agency, Syed Akhunzada Chattan, as he came out of the house.
Akhunzada, who was in Islamabad, reached his house soon after being informed about the incident.
The officials of the political administration and heavy contingents of Levies force reached the spot and launched the search.
Later, the political administration found the abandoned vehicle of the kidnappers from Tar area in Utmankhel tehsil of Bajaur Agency.
Talking to reporters Akhunzada Chattan, who is also the president of the Fata Political Alliance, said the security forces and political administration were making serious efforts for the safe recovery of his son.
Our correspondent adds from Ghallanai: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Fata chapter condemned the kidnapping and demanded the government to ensure safe and early recovery of the child.
