Islamabad :A team of distinguished cardiologist has set up a modern cardiology centre under the supervision of Executive Director of Rawalpindi Institute for Cardiology (RIC) General Azhar Mahmood Kayani at Park Road in Chak Shehzad area of the federal capital.
The centre is providing free of cost treatment to the deserving patients called Medikay Cardiac Centre is available for the services round the clock.
The Medikay Cardiac Centre is a state-of-the-art 60-bedded cardiovascular centre and is the first standard facility in Chak Shehzad area suburb of the city.
The Medikay’s team of experienced, qualified medical professionals, cardiologists is led by renowned cardiologist and Professor of Cardiology Dr General (R) Azhar Mahmood Kayani who is the pioneer of another state of art cardio centre RIC that was established by PML-N government under Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the management the Medikay provides treatment of all cardiac ailments under one roof like 24-hour Cardiac Emergency including emergency balloon-stenting (Primary PCI), Angiographies and Angioplasties, Cardiac By-Pass surgeries, Pacemakers and Electrophysiology implantable devices, Pediatric Cardiac treatment, CT Angio, Cardiac OPD (Check-ups) and Diagnostic Lab and Pharmacy. The provision of paediatric treatment is a distinction of the centre as the technology is rare in the federal capital.
