Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and Ameer-ud-Din Medical College Professor of Neurosurgery Dr. Khalid Mahmood called on Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana at Governor’s House.
According to a press release issued on Saturday, Prof. Khalid Mahmood apprised the governor about services of Lahore General Hospital, especially introduction of modern way of treatment of Parkinson and muscular tension called DBS at LGH. The governor congratulated Dr. Khalid Mahmood on his successful efforts to establish the modern DBS and appreciated his expertise and services rendered in this particular specialty in medical field.
The governor said there was no dearth of talent in Pakistani doctors and the way Dr. Khalid Mahmood had saved hundreds of Pakistani patients from going abroad and spending huge money for their treatment was commendable.
