Islamabad: The Ministry of Water and Power has set up the Federal Complaint Cell to address complaints of consumers regarding electricity round the clock.
The cell comprises General Complaint, Load Management Cell and Monitoring and Surveillance Cell.
The consumers can lodge their complaints on telephone numbers 051-910388, 051-9204430 and 051-9206834.
Complaints can also be registered online on website www.mowp.gov.pk.
As per the government directives, there will be no power loadshedding at ‘Sehar’, ‘Iftar’ and ‘Taraveeh’ during the holy month of Ramazan. In case of loadshedding during the said timing, the consumers can lodge their complaints.
Meanwhile, the ministry has requested domestic consumers to use electricity responsibly in order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all during the holy month.
It also advised the consumers to switch off unnecessary lights and air conditioners, iron and motor etc during ‘Sehar’, ‘Iftar’ and ‘Taraveeh’.
