Chehlum of renowned Urdu and Punjab poet Aizaz Ahmad Azar will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 4:00pm at 120-Zeenat Block Allama Iqbal Town Lahore. Quran Khawani and Dua will be followed by Iftar. Born in Batala, Azar authored 16 books of poetry and prose in both Punjabi and Urdu. Some of his works include ‘Dhiyan ki Seerian’, ‘Dhoop ka Rang Gulabi Ho’ and a collection of poems for children titled ‘Titli, Phool aur Chand’, which were broadcast from Radio Pakistan.
