All Pakistan Women Inter-varsity Cycling from April 14
KARACHI: The seventh edition of All Pakistan Women Inter-varsity Cycling Championship will be held from April 14-15 in Lahore.
Lahore College Women University is organising this event under the auspices of Higher Education Commission and Pakistan Cycling Federation. Women universities from all over Pakistan are taking part in this championship.
A total of nine events will be held: six track and three road events. On Sunday, one cyclist from each university will be able to compete in 500 Metres, 1000 Metres Sprint and 3-KM Individual Pursuit. Three cyclists will represent a university in 1-KM Team Sprint.
In Monday events, one cyclist from each university will feature in 20-KM Individual Road Time Trial. In 30-KM Team Road Time Trial and 20-KM Individual Road Scratch Race events, a university can field six cyclists. Four-cyclist university teams will feature in 3-KM Team Pursuit. One cyclist from each university will feature in Elimination Race.
