Three TTP terrorists arrested

LAHORE: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) claimed to have foiled a terrorism plan in Faisalabad in an intelligence-based operation with the arrest of three terrorists of Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Tuesday.

Hand grenades, pistols, explosives and cash were recovered from the arrested terrorists. The accused were identified as Noor Muhammad, Noor Raheem and Jaula Beeb. Three hand grenades, three pistols with 20 bullets and explosives were seized.

Identified: A 22-year-old woman, who was found dead in Shahdra two days back, has been identified as Iqra Saeed. She had reached Lahore from Karachi for modeling. Accused Hassan Butt, Umar Raza Butt and Usman had left her in Shahdra Hospital in a state of unconsciousness where she died. Police have registered a case against the accused.
