JUP to launch Shariah movement

LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) Noorani group leaders announced a countrywide “Enforce Nizam-e-Mustafa” campaign to implement Islamic Shariah and counter all western conspiracies.
This was the crux of speeches at the ‘Tahaffuz Pakistan Workers Convention’ chaired by JUP president Pir Ijaz Hashmi while other prominent leaders included JUP secretary general Shah Awais Noorani, Dr Raghib Naeemi, Pir Mehfooz Mashadi, Punjab president Noora Ahmad Sial, Dr Javed Akthar, Sardar Mohammad Khan Leghari, Ch Yaqoob, Rana Rehmat Ali and others. Pir Ijaz Hashmi announced that during the campaign, Nizam-e-Mustafa conventions would be held at divisional level and a national convention would be held at Islamabad.
