Rawalpindi : All campuses of Sadeeqa’s Learning System (SLS) Montessori & High School marked Pakistan Resolution Day in the form of week-long activities, says a press release.
SLS, Tufail Road Branch celebrated the event with great zeal and zest through morning assembles and other classroom activities expressing their patriotism and love for the country.
The school ground looked beautiful coloured in shades of green and white. Flag hangings made by the students in their arts and craft class were hung in the school compound along with balloons in green and white giving a festive look to the premises. Each grade level was assigned a task to make banners with the help of their teachers highlighting the importance of the day. Beautiful banners illustrating Allama Iqbal’s poetry, famous landmarks of Pakistan and some beautiful quotes and messages portraying their love towards the country were made and displayed by the students in the school ground.
A special morning assembly was also held highlighting the historical importance of Pakistan Resolution focusing on the vision and mission of the day. Students shared some important facts about the day and top ten facts were later displayed throughout the week on the school notice board for all the students to read. The students learnt about the famous figures who played a vital role in the Independence movement.
National Days remain incomplete without the national songs. The weeklong activities came to an end as a group of students sang a beautiful medley of national songs. All the teachers and students in the audience sang along with them waving stick flags in the air, and it was a beautiful sight to see.
