KARACHI: Qazi Muhammad Asif retained his seat unopposed as president of Pakistan Football Referees Association (PFRA), Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) said on Sunday.
Muhammad Shafiq of Quetta and Muhammad Iqbal Junior of Karachi were elected as vice-presidents and Mian Abdul Bari of Khanewal as secretary.
The newly-elected office-bearers have unanimously announced their unconditional support for the PFF chief Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, the PFF claimed.
“The journey of football growth is in the right direction and for further solid development of the game, we announce our unconditional support to Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat PFF President” Qazi Asif has been quoted as saying.
“The department of refereeing has improved a lot during the last decade which is only due to the keen interest of Faisal. We have unanimously decided to support Faisal,” Mian Abdul Bari said.
