Javed Malik brings investment delegation to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Envoy Ambassador Javed Malik led a delegation of the British and Canadian businessmen to meet Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, says a press release. The investors representing UAE-based company presented detailed proposal to invest in the mineral exploration and infrastructure development sectors in Balochistan.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Envoy Ambassador Javed Malik led a delegation of the British and Canadian businessmen to meet Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, says a press release.
The investors representing UAE-based company presented detailed proposal to invest in the mineral exploration and infrastructure development sectors in Balochistan. The delegation included Richard Quesnal, President of Colt Middle East, Alun Richards, Chief Investment Officer, and Chair Shahal Khan.
During the meeting Richard Quesnal on behalf of his company Colt Middle East expressed keen interest in investing in Balochistan and briefed the chief minister that their company was already actively working to finalise some projects in Balochistan and were keen to expand their operations in creating a win-win partnership that resulted in contributing towards the social and economic development of Balochistan.
Ambassador Javed Malik appreciated Balochistan chief minister for his vision to bring about sustainable development in the province and shared with him various proposals to further highlight the business, trade and development opportunities in the province and promote these opportunities globally.
The chief minister while welcoming the delegation said that his government was doing all that it could to welcome business activity and encourage investment in an effort to create development opportunities that might improve the quality of life of the Baloch people.
Ambassador Javed Malik thanked the chief minister for his warm welcome and said that under the leadership of prime minister they were working hard to promote and highlight opportunities in Pakistan and a Pakistan Opportunities Forum would also be organised in the UAE and the Gulf countries soon.
