Govt appoints Afzal Latif as CDA chief

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Saturday appointed Additional Secretary, Establishment Division, Afzal Latif, a BPS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Group as chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA).
Senior bureaucrat of good repute, Ishrat Ali, who was posted as CDA chairman by the caretaker government, has been transferred back to the post of Director General Immigration and Passport. Director General Immigration and Passport Amir Ali Ahmed has been given charge of Joint Secretary Economic Affairs Division.
It is expected that the federal government will make more changes in the CDA board with appointment of new members.
