LAHORE: The estimated net wealth on display during the recent Prince Harry-Meghan Markle wedlock in Britain has been estimated to be around three billion Pounds or Pakistani Rupees 467 billion, an amount larger than the national debt of some countries on the planet, reports the 115-year old British national daily tabloid newspaper "The Mirror" that happens to be the fifth most-circulated newspaper in Britain with a circulation of nearly 0.6 million copies every day in 2018.

While about 1.9 billion people all over the world had tuned in to their television sets to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's star-studded Royal wedding, a leading French social media monitoring firm specializing in processing Twitter data "Visibrain" said over six million people had tweeted on , which is more than three times the number during his older brother’s wedding.

Messrs "Visibrain" has revealed: "To be precise some 6,604,498 tweets were posted worldwide on the royal nuptials, of which 5.2 million bore the hashtag #RoyalWedding. That compared with 1,821,669 tweets across a similar timeframe for Prince William when he married Kate Middleton back on April 29, 2011 when Twitter, founded in 2006, was in its relative infancy."

A widely-subscribed British newspaper "Daily Mirror" maintains: "It was the most star-studded wedding in history as Hollywood stars rubbed shoulders with the British aristocracy." More highlights from the British Royal Wedding:

Wearing a stunning long-sleeve dress designed by Clare Waight Keller (the first female artistic director at Messrs Givenchy in Paris), Meghan was essentially donning a more streamlined version of the dress Cinderella had wore during her wedding to Prince Charming in Walt Disney's 1950 animated musical fantasy "Cinderella," one of the most-admired fairytale characters ever conceived.

On the other hand, Harry donned full military uniform – the frockcoat uniform of the Blues and British Royals. "The Sun," a tabloid newspaper published in the United Kingdom since 1964, writes: "Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding is exactly like Disney’s Cinderella."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding guests made up of royal family friends and celebrities ranging from Indian actress Priyanka Chopra and Tennis star Serena Williams to British Football legend David Beckham.

The 35-year old Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, dressed in a glamorous "Vivienne Westwood" outfit and large and "Philip Treacy" lilac hat, is one of Meghan’s closest friends. Famous American television host, Oprah Winfrey, was also among the celebrity guests at the royal wedding. The US talk show host waved to the crowds as she entered St George’s Chapel.

Prince Harry's 92-year old grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was the last guest to arrive, accompanied by her 96-year old husband, Prince Philip, who made his way into the St. George's Chapel unaided just two months after a hip replacement

Doria Ragland, Meghan's mother and Harry's dad, Prince Charles, helped the bride walk her way up the aisle. Also seen was Princess Camilla, the second wife of Prince Charles. Harry's elder brother, Prince William, was also there with his wife Kate Middleton and their children George and Charlotte.

Prince Andrew, with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, was also in the congregation. It goes without saying that, as always, the latest Royal wedding did not take place without a few hiccups.

A few hilarious things that happened at Harry and Meghan's Royal Wedding, according to the Indian "NDTV," included the struggle Prince Harry had to do to lift his bride's veil inside the church. Harry finally got it right and lifted Meghan Markle's veil, which is a tradition. Then, cameras caught the groom's father, Prince Charles, trying to have a brief nap during the ceremony.

Another leading British media house "The Telegraph" states: "Newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to begin their married lives at home after an emotional wedding ceremony that captivated the nation. After a day that saw the couple seal their union with a kiss, process through Windsor in a carriage and experience a moving wedding reception speech in their honour from the Prince of Wales, the pair - who will now be called the Duke and Duchess of Sussex--spent Saturday night partying with close family and friends. The newlyweds spent the night at Windsor Castle and on Sunday were bidding farewell to the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh before travelling home to Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace. In their first official engagement as husband and wife, the couple will attend a 70th birthday patronage celebration for the Prince of Wales."

Meanwhile, popular Indian singer and actor, Diljit Dosanjh, took to twitter on the morning of May 20, 2018, to post videos and pictures from his latest concert in UK, Birmingham. The singer was performing on the night of May 19.

According to the "Times of India," in his concert, Diljit, paid a tribute to the newly-wedded Royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and videos by fans have surfaced on the internet.

Royal family website notes Meghan's 'proud feminist' credentials: Eminent American television channel "CNN" reports: "After a ceremony that shook up royal tradition, a biography of the new Duchess of Sussex has appeared on the website of the British Royal family, and it firmly emphasizes her activist credentials. High on the page, in a bold font, is a quote from a speech the then Meghan Markle delivered on International Women's Day in 2015: "I am proud to be a woman and a feminist."

The "CNN" asserts: "The last public glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was on Saturday evening when they swept out of Windsor Castle in a vintage Jaguar convertible and drove south to Frogmore House, where Harry's father, Prince Charles, hosted an evening reception for 200 of the couple's friends and family. Fireworks lit up the sky as guests, including the tennis star Serena Williams and the Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, celebrated alongside members of the Royal Family. All 600 guests were invited to an afternoon reception, hosted by the Queen at Windsor Castle's St. George's Hall. They heard Elton John -- who was a friend of the late Princess Diana and played at her funeral -- perform three songs, while Harry's best man, Prince William, acted as compere."
