Film ‘Wajood’ trailer launched
KARACHI: The much awaited film, Wajood, of Director and Actor Javed Sheikh, will be released in Pakistan and abroad on Eidul Fitr.
This is the first film of the Lollywood in which three veteran heroes of the local film industry have performed simultaneously, these heroes include: Nadeem, Shahid and Javed Sheikh. Director and producer Javed Sheikh has said that a unique story had been picturised to create interest among the public in the country and abroad. He said that the film team had worked very hard to make the film a success at box office.
He said that he had selected the best locations to shoot the film according to the story. Actor Javed Sheikh is returning to direction after a gap of almost a decade with this movie ‘Wajood.’ He always showed an earnestness to introduce the latest technologies and adopt the hottest trends in cinema. The trailer for Javed Sheikh’s directorial comeback film ‘Wajood’ was launched on Saturday at local cinema, which promises to be a romantic thriller of sorts.
While the trailer mentions some sort of the film plot, one thing that we do know for sure is that it has been shot in Turkey. The film stars Danish Taimoor, Saeeda Imtiaz and Indian actor Aditi Singh in key roles. Danish Taimoor, will be seen essaying the character of a pilot, while Javed Sheikh is possibly essaying the villain’s role. Apart from Danish, Saeeda and Aditi, Wajood’s cast includes Nadeem Baig, Shahid Hameed, Frieha Altaf, Ali Salman and Javed Sheikh himself.
The cast and crew of ‘Wajood’ walked the red carpet at the trailer launch event at a local multiplex in Karachi. Trailer launch event graced film cast and many other show biz celebrities included Ayeza Khan , Shehroz Sabzwari, Sangeeta, Humayun Saeed, Momal Shiekh, Nadeem Baig, Shehzad Ali Khan , Adnan Tipu, Khalid Butt, Behroz Sabzwari, Shehroz, Safeena, Shehzad Shiekh, Ayaz Khan, Nabeel , Saira Shehroz, Safena , Hina, Nadir, Ismail Tara.
The movie has been the talk of the town since its trailer came out. ’Wajood’ is an upcoming Pakistani revenge thriller film directed and produced by Javed Sheikh. The film is release on Eidul Fitr, June 2018. Geo and Jang Group is the media partner of the film ‘Wajood.’ Saeeda Imtiaz and Danish Taimoor were cast in a leading roles. The character of Saeeda is "of a young Pakistani girl who is very outspoken, independent and doesn't rely on anybody to fulfill her dreams. While Taimoor said, "The script is brilliant and its music also promises to be so; this is the main reason why I signed the film. And also the fact that Javed Sheikh Sahab is making his directional comeback with it. How could I have said no.”
Javed sheikh said, "Half of the film shot in Pakistan and half of it in Turkey." The music and soundtrack of the film is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, while some of the track had additional musicians.
