Two held for harassing women
LAHORE: The FIA Cyber Crime Circle on Friday, in different raids, arrested two persons, including an income tax inspector, on charges of sexually harassing two women and extorting money from them.
An FIA team led by Assistant Director Muhammad Usman, following the complaint of a woman regarding sexual harassment, blackmailing and extortion of money, arrested Income Tax Inspector Nadeem Akhtar Khan at a restaurant on Jail Road, Lahore. The team also recovered the data of the victim woman from the mobile phone of the accused. A case has been registered against him under the Prevention of Electronic Crime Act 2016.
In the second raid, an FIA team arrested a man, Mansoor Akram Butt, a resident of Sabzazar, Lahore. A complaint was registered against him by a woman contending that he deceitfully made an illicit video and pictures of her and later started blackmailing her.
