Street children football teams visits PFF HQ
LAHORE: Muslim Hands Street Children Football Team visited Pakistan Football Federation headquarters Lahore along with the team coach Muhammad Rashid.
The team will participate in the Street Child World Cup 2018 Russia just before the FIFA World Cup. Other members of the Muslim Hands delegation included their country head Syed Ziaul Noor , Programme Advisor Raja Salam Nusrat, Team Manager Mujtaba Haider which met the PFF President Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat and conducted media conference afterwards.
The team included children from all over the country. The team was selected on merit by the Muslim Hands coaches. Muslim Hands runs country wide youth football academies. The team has won Gold medal in Russia in 2017 by beating 11 teams including India.
In the past street children of Pakistan in 2014 won bronze medal in 2014 Street Children Football World Cup. Country Head of Muslim Hands Syed Zia Al Noor congratulated the PFF President for revival of football in the country and said during the media conference that we are a welfare organization which also works for the promotion of football amongst the deprived faction of the society, he thanked President PFF inviting them at PFF Headquarters to support their cause, asked PFF President Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat to pick the talent from these children.
President PFF has said that we have always adopted a very positive approach for the development of football, PFF will take all measures to identify the young and provide them a platform to show their skills at national and international level.
He praised the work being done by the Muslim Hands for the betterment of Pakistani Society. Talking about talent hunting, he said that PFF has formed 2 technical study groups to mark the talented players taking part in the National Challenge Cup 2018, going on in Karachi which shows our will to bring all good talent to become part of the Pakistan national team.
He wished best of luck for the street children team going Russia on 10th of May 2018 to take part in street children World Cup while praising the efforts and services of teams seasoned coach Muhammad Rashid.
