RAWALPINDI: Popo Club defeated Arshmaan Club 4-1 in the final to win the 1st Rawalpindi Girls’ Futsal Championship here at the Shahbaz Sharif Sports Complex, says a press release.
PakTurk School finished third in the tournament, which was organised by the newly formed Rawalpindi Futsal Association.Divisional Sports Officer Waheed Babar was the chief guest at the prize distribution ceremony.
Rawalpindi Futsal Association President Raja Asad Hameed was also present on the occasion. He also announced that in collaboration with the Punjab Futsal Association, the RFA would organise the Punjab Championship in the near future.
