Pakistan Zindabad Movement holds rally in Lower Dir
TIMERGARA: Pakistan Zindabad Movement (PZM) organised a public meeting in favour of Pakistan Army here on Tuesday.
Hundreds of people from Lower Dir and Upper Dir attended the rally at Timergara Rest House. They pledged to extend all-out support to the security forces. Pakistan Zindabad Movement's Lower Dir president Sheikh Amjad Ali, Brigadier (retd) Saeedullah Khan, Maulana Azizul Haq Usmani of JI, Maulana Ziaul Haq Haideri of Rah-i- Haq Party (RHP), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) women wing leaders Naeema Naz, Saira Shams, Nusrat Begum and others spoke on the occasion.
They said the Pak army restored peace in the region after rendering countless sacrifices but some elements were bent upon destabilising the country. Criticizing Manzoor Pashteen of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement, they said Pashteen wanted to divide Pakhtuns but the peace loving people of Pakistan wouldn't let anyone to destroy the peace.
They urged the people not to toe the line of such elements and maintain pace in the country. "We praise our security forces for restoring peace and will never allow anyone to launch a tirade against our forces and country," said one of the speakers.
