FAST university holds ‘Nescon 18’

Islamabad: ‘Nescon 18’ the grand annual event of FAST National University started at University campus Islamabad with the media partnership of Jang Media Group, says a press release.

About 7,000 students of various universities from all over Pakistan are taking part in various activities of the mega event. PTCL Executive Vice President Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. University’s senior Professor Dr. Mazhar highlighted the key objectives and role of such activities in polishing mental abilities of students. He said that youth can play an important role to enable Pakistan facing current global challenges. He urged students to work hard in their studies for their better future.

Student’s representative Bilal offered welcome note to the chief guest and other participants. The event consists of a variety of activities such as robotics, scientific projects competitions, debates sports and musical competitions etc. On the closing of events on Sunday, a prestigious closing ceremony was held in which prizes and certificates were distributed among winning participants.
