LAHORE: Robbers deprived citizens of their valuables and vehicles worth millions of rupees here on Thursday.
Robbers took away Rs 0.8 million from one Naveed in the Iqbal Town area, Rs 200,000 from one Mujahid in Sattukatla, Rs 300,000 from one Akbar in Kahna, Rs 130,000 from one Waqar in Iqbal Town, Rs 100,000 from one Allah Yar in Faisal Town, Rs 125,000 from one Maqbool in Gulshan Iqbal and Rs 30,000 and valuables from one Farrukh in the Sattukatla area.
Locals caught a robber who was on his way back after snatching Rs 600 from one Sadiq in the Mughalpura area.
The robber, identified as Zahir ud Din, was handed over to police.
Six bikes were stolen from the areas of Shahdara, Shahdara Town, Shalimar, Gujarpura, Qila Gujjar Singh and Kahna. A car was lifted from the area of Chung.
