Peace body member shot dead in Bannu

BANNU: Unidentified bikeriders on Monday shot dead the member of a peace committee and injured his nephew in the Janikhel area of the Frontier Region (FR) Bannu, sources said. They said the assailants fired at a member of a peace committee Maulvi Shamsul Haq in Janikhel area, leaving him dead on the spot. The sources said the nephew of Shamsul Haq suffered serious bullet wounds in the incident. The accused escaped after committing the crime, the sources added.
