Six judicial officers transferred

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court chief justice has ordered the posting/transfers of six judicial officers in the public interest with immediate effect.

Kulsoom Azam, Additional District and Sessions Judge Mansehra, was transferred to Peshawar.

Sadia Arshad, Additional District and Sessions Judge Peshawar, was transferred to Mansehra.

Nusrat Naz, Additional District and Sessions Judge Kohat, was transferred to Dargai (Malakand). Sumbal Naseer, Additional District and Sessions Judge Dargai (Malakand), was transferred to Kohat.

Alamgir Shah, Senior Civil Judge Mansehra, was transferred to Peshawar.Mian Zahidullah Jan, Senior Civil Judge Peshawar, was transferred to Mansehra. It was stated in an order issued by registrar of the Peshawar High Court.

Repatriation of judge ordered: Meanwhile, the PHC chief justice ordered immediate repatriation of Shoaib Khan, District and Sessions Judge/Judge, Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling Court in Peshawar, and posted him as District and Sessions Judge, Kohat.

He was directed to relinquish the charge in Peshawar and assume charge in Kohat. It was stated in an order issued by the registrar, PHC.

Urdu Bait Bazi contest arranged at school: The year’s Monolingual Intramural Urdu Bait Bazi contest was staged on the premises of Beaconhouse School System, Frontier Campus, Girls Branch.

A total of 15 students of five branches of Beaconhouse School System recited miscellaneous versus of Urdu poetry and voiced various poets’ poetry, says a press release.

The students of Frontier Campus, Girls Branch under the presidentship of Ms Durdana Tanveer managed the event from scratch to pinnacle of interest and devotion.

The event commenced sharp at 10am and stretched till 12 noon. The air was ablaze by the fiery delivery of the enthusiastic contestants, which enthralled the audience.

The judges’ qualified Beaconhouse School System, Frontier Campus, Girl Branch as the winner. Jalala Campus, Mardan secured 2nd and Jamrud Campus, Peshawar won 3rd ranking. All the participants earned praise and applaud from the audience.
