‘Hindu, Jewish lobbies active in Afghanistan’
LANDIKOTAL: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fata coordinator and former federal minister Pir Noorul Haq Qadri has asked Afghan president Ashraf Ghani not to play into the hands of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as Hindu and Jewish lobby wanted to use Afghan soil to destabilise Pakistan economically and politically.
Qadri was speaking at a public gathering arranged by All Torkham Customs Clearing Agents Association at Torkham border on Saturday. He said that Ashraf Ghani was a puppet of Narendra Modi who uses him to promote Indian interests in Afghanistan.
“Afghanistan is our second homeland but Pakistan is our beloved country and we do not want to compromise on its solidarity and integrity,” said Qadri.
Regarding the strict border management policy at Torkham border, Qadri said that due to inappropriate restriction in import and export documentation process, all the businessmen and traders in Pakistan have been suffering losses for the past two years.
He said National Logistic Cell (NLC) should respect the agreement signed with the Khugakhel tribe elders. He said Khugakhel tribespeople were the first owners of the Torkham property and the government should not do anything on the border area without the tribe’s consent.
