Peace rally in North Waziristan

MIRANSHAH: Activists of PTI on Saturday took out a peace rally in North Waziristan Agency (NWA). The participants were carrying the party flags and banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of peace. The participants were riding bikes, three-wheelers and other vehicles. The rally started from Miranshah, the administrative headquarters of NWA, and culminated in Mir Ali subdivision. Potential PTI candidate for National Assembly seat Malik Naik Muhammad was leading the rally.
Malik Naik Muhammad said that holing of the rally was aimed at giving the message to the international community that tribespeople were peaceful and that peace had been restored to the NWA.
